Since inception, Redwing has grown from a two-person firm to the thriving company that exists today with a broad range of ecological and consulting expertise to offer clients.
Redwing Ecological Services, Inc. was established in 1999 by Kiersten Fuchs and Ron Thomas with a few committed clients and hundreds of contacts in the ecological arena. They hired their first employee, Richard Clausen, in October of that year. In response to Redwing's steady growth Shelia Broughton was hired as Business Manager in 2000 to run operations from the inside while the other three were busy with field work and client relations outside the office. Conversations between the four soon evolved into the current partnership with Shelia Broughton and Richard Clausen becoming partners in Redwing in 2004. Redwing has steadily added employees to meet growing work load demands and fill key expertise roles. Redwing now boasts a diverse staff of ecologists, wildlife biologists, aquatic biologists, and an environmental engineer that can respond to most any ecological issue required by their clients.
