Friendship Trip Write Up
Friday: I was MIA for this one, but I
heard we showed up, set up, and hung out. And that the new boys were kind of
annoying, but that’s pretty much all I have for this one. Oh yes, also my dad
told me that they went to get some ice cream from the ladies with the ice
cream.
Saturday: We got up and cooked breakfast,
young boys went to camp area, other scouts wandered around.
I showed up around noon and Michael,
John, Graham and I went to the farthest part of the place and looked at stuff
down there. We got some lemonade and saw all the old people like my dad and Mr.
Cullen down there too. We headed back and on the way we saw some new boys with
the oh so annoying guns
At dinner the venture crew went to get
some food at the vendors. I got a cheeseburger I don’t know what other people
got though. We hung out, people lit incense, and we destroyed the younger boys
guns, which they had been messing with throughout the day.
Later we went to get some of the best
dessert ever. When we returned it began raining and we sat under the rain fly.
Around 12 we decided to go to bed.
Sunday: We woke up, packed up, and sent
everyone out to do their last bits of shopping. We had to all return by 12:30
and I think we ended up leaving by around 1. Which is typical Troop 40 fashion.
We got back at the scout house around 3 or so, and unpacked.
Overall, for the part that I was there
the trip was pretty fun and I had a good time, so did the other scouts.
