Beer Factoid

When the Titanic sunk in 1912, 350 miles off the coast of Newfoundland, there were 12,000 bottles of Bass Ale on board.

In August 1996, the crew from RMS Titanic, Inc., the sanctioned salvor of the Titanic, dove to the site of the sunken ocean liner in the mini-sub the Nautile. Among the artifacts brought to the surface were six bottles of 84 year old Bass ale.
