In late 1995, Bad Frog Beer was banned in Ohio by the Liquor Control Board because of its controversial label which depicts a frog flipping "the bird." Bad Frog was also banned in New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey because of its label. At the time of this writing, Bad Frog was suing New York for $2 million claiming violations of Bad Frog's freedoms under both the First and Fourteenth Amendments to the Constitution.
