2010 Financial Literacy Summit
Dollars and Sense for Kids

The only FREE statewide teacher conference focusing on economics and personal finance

One hundred and five teachers, grades 5-12, attended the 3rd annual Life Fundamental$ Literacy Summit on June 14-15 at the Holiday Inn Hurstbourne in Louisville, KY.

Based on the Summit evaluations from teachers, not only have these teachers benefited from the Summit, but over 13,581 students will benefit in the upcoming school year as the teachers take back with them new teaching strategies and tips, as well as the abundant resources they received from the sessions, exhibits, and speakers.

Thanks to all of our Partners, Sponsors, Speakers, Presenters, and Exhibitors who made this event a great success!

Teacher comments....

This conference was fabulous!  It was just the right size for me.  No rushing to get into a presentation--plenty of seats!  The presenters are great!  The materials are wonderfully overwhelming--and much appreciated.  The food and snacks super!  Thanks to all t he sponsors.  What's not to like?!  And FREE on top of it all.  Thanks, as well to the vendors for their time and materials.  Thanks so much for everything!

Lots of great information and ideas-- I enjoyed the conference and learned so much that I can take back (excitedly) to my students in the Fall.  It was especially nice that all of this was at no cost to the teachers.  If there is a summit next year, I want to be here--Thank you so much!

Thank you!  This is always one of my highlights of summer PD!  I can always use the info provided!

While walking back through late last night, a man and his family was looking over the exhibit tables and I heard him say "A person could have learned a whole lot her today!"
