Welcome to The Beer Label Museum!

The Beer Label Museum houses a large collection of beer labels from around the world. In addition to the labels, you'll discover an abundance of beer esoterica that ranges from descriptions of and stories about the various beers to historical information on beer and brewing in general. This tour guide is designed to orient you with the structure of the Beer Label Museum and to make your exploration more enjoyable.

The Beer Label Museum is organized in a hierarchical structure as shown below.

Import/Microbrewery

The Beer Label Museum presents two tours: One displaying import beer labels and the other displaying beer labels from the microbreweries throughout the United States.

Country/State

At the Country and State levels, you'll find "clickable" regional maps that will provide access to the Brewery level.

Brewery

At the Brewery level, you'll find the name and location of the brewery. Some of the Brewery pages contain a link to a story about the brewery. The stories come from the six-pack carton, official brewery brochures, or other official sources.* ±

Beer

At this level you'll find the beer labels. Below you'll see and example of how the the beer label pages are laid out and what type of information you'll find on each page.

The Beer

This is the name of the beer.

This is a scan of the beer label.

The label reads:

Information that follows this introduction comes directly from the label on the bottle.

The Brewery describes this beer:

Information that follows this introduction comes from the six pack carton, official brewery brochures, or other official sources.

Throughout the Beer Label Museum you'll find beer mug icons like this one. Clicking one of these icons will take to a Beer Factoid--an interesting bit of trivia about beer.

* All text taken directly from the labels, the cartons, official brewery brochures, or other official sources is copyrighted by the brewery.

± In some cases, I've compiled the story myself using various sources. If so, you'll see my logo at the bottom of the text.
