Click on Walker Ancestors for information on the most distant 2 generations. Click for a list of the surnames included in the reports named above. David Wilson Walker, my great grandfather was born in 1822 in North Carolina. He came to Folsomville, Warrick Co., IN before 1847. He married Sarah A. Phillips (b. 1828) in Dec. 1847 in Folsomville, Warrick Co., IN. According to the 1850 Federal Indiana Census, Owen Township, Warrick Co., IN, there was a David Walker aged 69 from NC. This David Walker died April 1853 and he is buried in Ebenezer Cemetery in Warrick Co., IN. He probably is related to David Wilson Walker but I do not have proof. Also, listed in the 1850 census in IN were Robert B. Walker (b. 1815), Martin R. Walker (b.1820) in one household and a Merida (b. 1830) living with David Walker in another household. Robert B. Walker died in 1851. All of these Walkers were born in NC. I cannot find Martin Walker anywhere after 1850. Millard Fillmore Walker, son of David Wilson Walker, married first Abbie Gentry who was killed by a runaway horse and buggy and then he married Nancy Lula Gentry in 1901 in Warrick Co. IN.
