Famariah HUGHES was born circa 1758. She died on 8 May 1843 in Jefferson Co.,
KY.

between 1781 and 1782 in VA. She married Robert Shirley on 28 Dec 1811 in Scott
Co., KY. She died after 1852.

married Nicholas Brown on 29 Aug 1799 in Culpeper Co., VA.
- 5 iii. George CARDWELL was born in 1784 in VA. He
died circa 1852.
- 6 iv. Benjamin CARDWELL was born circa 1785.
- 7 v. Lewis CARDWELL was born on 25 Dec 1785. He
died on 31 Oct 1832 at age 46.

31 May 1841. She married Thomas Jackson Quick, son of James H. Quick and
Elizabeth Welch, on 8 Oct 1861. She died on 2 Aug 1871 at age 30.
Thomas Jackson QUICK was born on 20 Sep 1842. He married Mary Ann Paulley,
daughter of Joseph Paulley and Mary Barrall, on 29 Jul 1872 in Brooks, Bullitt
Co., KY. He died on 19 Dec 1921 in Brooks, Bullitt Co., KY, at age 79.

16. George Thomas QUICK was born in
Aug 1862 in Brooks, Bullitt Co., KY. He married Maggie Ferguson. He married
Laura A. Hall on 28 Mar 1888. He died on 19 Jan 1946 in Brooks Station, Brooks,
Bullitt Co., KY, at age 83.
There were no children of George Thomas Quick and Maggie Ferguson.

IN. She died on 27 Jan 1981 in 1334 E. Breckinridge St., Louisville, Jefferson
Co., KY, at age 83.
17. Martha Jane QUICK was born on

daughter of Fred Stephens and Mary Ann Paulley, on 9 May 1888 in Family Home,
Brooks, Bullitt, KY. He married Hattie Belle Foster, daughter of Capt. John
Lewright Foster and Elizabeth Z. Russell, on 26 Nov 1900. He died on 24 Apr 1929
in Brooks, Bullitt Co., KY, at age 65.
Minnie STEPHENS was born on 21 Mar 1865 in Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY. She
married David I. Ferguson on 7 Mar 1884 in Jeffersonville, Clark, IN. She died
on 21 Jul 1898 in Brooks Station, Bullitt, KY, at age 33.
Children of James Edward Quick and Minnie Stephens were as follows:
- 27 i. Clarence T. QUICK was born on 1 Aug 1888
in Jeffersontown, Jefferson Co., KY. He married Maybelle Hall on 23 Sep 1911 in
Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY. He died on 18 Oct 1948 at age 60.
- 28 ii. Mayme QUICK was born on 4 Oct 1890 in
Jefferson Co., KY. She married Paul Priestley. She married William Louis
Crigler, son of W. L. Crigler and Amanda Lowe, on 24 Dec 1909 in Jeffersonville,
Clark Co., IN. She died on 2 Mar 1980 at age 89.
- 29 iii. Erman Edward QUICK was born on 26 Jul 1892
in Brooks, Bullitt Co., KY. He married Adelina Pearl Bianchi on 20 May 1913 in
Phoenix, AZ. He died on 20 Jun 1947 in Glendale, CA, at age 54.

Michael Edward Marcum and Martha Lois Parker, in Aug 1927 in Jeffersonville,
Clark, IN. He died on 8 Apr 1971 in Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY, at age 61.
- 37 v. Richard Logan QUICK was born on 10 Sep 1916. He
married Bessie Farris on 6 Nov 1937 in Louisville, Jefferson, KY. He and Bessie
Farris were divorced in 1941. He married Mabel Mauree Ramsey, daughter of John
Edward Ramsey and Hattie Bell Clements, on 17 Dec 1946 in Jeffersonville, Clark,
IN. He died on 6 Apr 1970 in Jewish Hospital, Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY, at
age 53.
