Become an ELITE Teacher!
In a pilot project funded by the Gheens Foundation and the State Farm Insurance Company, 14 Kentucky economics teachers met at Butler State Park in December, 2002 as members of the first ELITE group of teachers. The list of ELITE teachers continues to grow!
The goal of the ELITE program is to improve high school student performance on the CATS test in economics, to support the economics teacher in the classroom with high quality teaching materials and professional development aligned with the Kentucky core content.
