THE
GREAT DEPRESSION
(FREE!)
Hosted
by: The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis—Louisville Branch Few eras have shaped our national identity like the Great Depression. To help teachers educate their students about this historic period, the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis has developed an innovative curriculum focusing on the Great Depression. The curriculum includes six stand-alone lessons, allowing teachers to select those lessons most appropriate for their students and course structure. These lessons include simulations, group activities and audio-visual materials. If you teach history, economics or government, this curriculum is an excellent addition to your current lesson plans. There is no fee for the workshop, and lessons plans are provided to participants at no cost. In addition, participants will receive professional development hours. Advance registration is required. Please register online at http://stlouisfed.org/event/00FA To learn more, please contact Caryn Rossiter at 502-568-9257 or caryn.j.rossiter@stls.frb.org |
