Please consider my application for a position of professor/teacher of mathematics. I am available for full or part time, temporary or permanent positions. I have 40 years experience in teaching mathematics at the secondary, post-secondary, and graduate levels. I have taught algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, theory of functions of complex variables, elements of probability theory and statistics, and functional analysis. In my home country of Ukraine, I have been involved in seminars and in the writing of professional papers on the subject of methods of teaching mathematics. I have experimented with many methods of teaching, which I have combined and refined to effectively and quickly pass on knowledge to my students. My goals are that my students develop a powerful interest in mathematics, a deep knowledge, and the ability to think logically. I would like to combine Eastern European with modern American methods of teaching to improve the quality of education in the USA.
