How Clipmate and Clipmaster implement consecutive paste operations.
Automated Consecutive Paste
While configured for Serial Paste operation, Cliphance supplies the paste item to the clipboard. The item provided for paste operations will be the first item stored for which no paste operation has been performed. Therefore, you may copy as many items as is convenient, then paste as many items as is convenient, copy as many items as is convenient, etc.
Other characteristics provide for permanent storage of stored items (Add to Clipbase and Recall: Save Clippings). By checking Open Clipviewer Window, each stored item is displayed in a viewer window from which the stored item may be selected for paste. The Capture from Specific Window restricts the storage of items to those copied from a specific screen window. The Append Clippings characteristics stores all text items copied to the clipboard in one item.
Select for Consecutive Paste
In the Select Clippings for Paste dialog box, multiple stored items may be selected for Serial Paste operations. Cycle Paste differs in that the paste sequence may be repeated indefinitely. If the paste order is not convenient the Order may be changed.
Viewer windows may be opened for selected clippings (View). Selected clippings may be stored in permanent storage in a Clipbase. Listed clippings may be stored in permanent storage as Recall.
